The Low Country Veterans Group functions as a reliable resource for veterans to receive the help, guidance and support they need.
From transitional housing for homeless veterans to professional VA benefit filing assistance, LCVG is designed to address the growing need for assistance for vets facing challenges in life.
Regardless of branch, soldiers share a common bond that others may never fully understand. We have created a space where veterans can connect with others who have had similar experiences through regular functions, fish frys, cookouts, events, and even trips.
By collaborating with local organizations, programs and heartfelt community members, we have created a network of resources that benefit our local veterans. We've been a distribution center for hurricane relief with the American Red Cross and even host a community food bank in conjunction with national services. A long-lasting partnership with St. Christopher's Place ensures veterans can stop by for free clothing and shoes at any given time. There's so much more!
LCVG is truly a community organization and continuously seeks partnerships and collaborations to ensure local veterans have what they need to live a quality life in country they sacrificed their lives for.
