When veterans join the LCVG, they join a family. From fellowship events and empowerment workshops to leadership opportunities and access to vital resources, our members are supported at every stage of life after service.
Vernet R., U.S. Army veteran
The local VA sees veterans in our offices on a regular basis. This valuable partnership allows us to provide personalized support in filing claims, securing back pay and accessing benefits.
More than a resource, LCVG is a brotherhood and sisterhood. We bring veterans together through cookouts, empowerment workshops, community gatherings, game nights and so much more that foster lasting bonds and camaraderie. Because no veteran should ever feel alone.
At LCVG, service doesn’t end when your military career does. Members often join together to participate in parades, color guard, volunteer opportunities at local events and more — continuing to serve the community side by side with their comrades.
We believe that those who served are best suited to support fellow veterans. Our team is composed of dedicated professionals and volunteers, many of whom are veterans themselves.
Our team helps take the stress out of the process of reclaiming recognition. With knowledge of the National Archives system, we guide members step by step in obtaining or replacing military service medals, decorations and awards.
Honoring our fallen heroes is at the heart of our mission. When a veteran in our community passes away, we stand by their family with funeral service assistance, flag dedications and meal support — a true expression of respect, honor and love.

Member meetings are held every 2nd Saturday of the month at 10am.

While grants and donations help fund specific programs and initiatives, membership dues provide the steady foundation that allows our organization to operate day-to-day. These contributions help cover essential operating expenses and support the fellowship, outreach, and connection that define who we are.
Just like during service, everyone has a role. Membership dues represent a shared commitment to the group by pitching in so that meals are on the table, events can happen, and support is available when a fellow veteran needs it.
Membership dues are $240 annually and may be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually. We want to make participation accessible while honoring the shared responsibility of membership.
If you’re a veteran looking for connection, purpose, and support we invite you to join the LCVG family.
